My fully equipped repair workshop caters for the repair requirements of all flute players. Since 1980, I have been repairing flutes & piccolos and making headjoints. I am available to discuss maintenance or repair problems you may be experiencing. It is extremely difficult to estimate for repair work without seeing the instrument. I would advise, therefore, that you bring, or send, the instrument to me for evaluation. I am always busy so please contact me beforehand for an appointment. |

Booking In

| I operate a 'booking-in' system for services and overhauls. Work normally takes 10 days for student instruments (i.e. book in for Friday and your repair will be ready for collection on the following Monday). Professional and Intermediate instruments can be booked in for a particular day. It is advisable to arrange particular dates well in advance especially at half-terms and holidays. I always endeavour to carry out small repairs on a while-you-wait basis; miracles normally take a little longer! |

| Lip-plate
replacement |
I also offer a lip-plate replacement service which allows for a hand-crafted lip-plate and riser to be fitted to an existing headjoint tube. In many cases this offers a very worth-while result. Please feel free to contact me for more information. |
